Returns and Refunds

By using the site you are acknowledging that you have read, understood and agree without limitation or qualification to be bound by our terms and conditions which are in accordance with the Consumer Protection (distance selling) Regulations 2000. Relevant UK law will apply to these terms and conditions and the relevant court in the UK will have exclusive jurisdiction. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

Information contained on the website

We have tried to make our website as accurate as possible. We will regularly update descriptions, images, weights and prices. In the unfortunate event of an error occuring on our site we reserve the right to correct any inaccuracies or omissions including after an order has been submitted and to update information at any time without prior notice.

Many of our pieces are bespoke and unique so are liable to slight variations in final finish or gemstone colour images may not appear to actual sizebut we include approx dimensions and weights where possible to help you envisage our pieces.


We are sure that you will be delighted with your purchase. However, if you are not completely satisfied or have duplicated a gift, we will gladly offer you an exchange or refund minus original postage costs up to 14 days from your receipt of order. Please contact us for an official returns order number. Goods must be returned unused, undamaged and with their original packaging. We will not refund any goods that show any signs of wear, wilful, malicious damage or negligence which will void our refund and exchange policies. We recommend you return the item using an insured ‘signed for’ delivery service such as special delivery post and that you retain proof of postage. The customer will remain responsible for the goods until they arrive back at VJG. Any goods that have been personalised with any form of engraving cannot be returned. Special orders are also unreturnable unless faulty.

Faulty goods

We aim to have high standards of quality control. However, if you feel that an item is faulty please contact us for an official returns note. Please return the item to us at VJG Jewellery, 6 Warwick Lane, BN11 3DP with your name, contact details, order number, date purchased and include a brief letter with details of the fault. We will then examine the piece and if we feel the item is faulty, will either offer you a full refund or an exchange. We will also refund your return postage. Please note that we will not refund or exchange any item that shows signs of wilful, malicious damage or negligence.
If the goods are found not to be faulty the goods will be returned to you. Subject to the uk statutory rights of cancellation we reserve the right to charge you for the costs incurred in dealing with goods that are not found to be faulty. If you have any questions regarding returning goods please contact us.

Incorrect orders

Our orders are checked thoroughly and double checked prior to dispatch. If you find an order to be incomplete or incorrect please contact us within 48 hours and we will endeavour to rectify the situation as soon as possible.

Incorrect ring sizes

It is your responsibility to order your correct ring size. if you are unsure of your finger size please ask us for a ring-finger sizing guide. If you have ordered an incorrect ring size and need to reorder a ring please contact us and we will issue you with a returns note. We will resize any of our silver rings for a charge of £15.00 including return postage to you. you are liable for the postage of returning the ring to us.

For resizing any gold, palladium or platinum rings please contact us for a quote as it will vary according to size required.
